Five disciplines. One single criterion.

IA is the group's youngest discipline (2023), yet it operates under the same philosophy we have applied since 2007: measure first, commit afterwards. Here is our place within the Summum universe — and why it was born.

Intelligence cannot be bought. It is applied with judgement.

When a client asks us about AI, the first honest response is usually: "Are you sure AI actually solves that problem?" Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Selling what is not needed is the fastest way to erode trust in the word AI.

That is why our lab exists within the group: every case goes through the Consultoría filter (is it strategic?), Sistemas (can it be operated?) and Calidad (can it be audited?) before we accept it as a pilot.

Four principles

The four principles that govern the lab.

What we apply in every internal project, and what we recommend when we join a new company. If there is disagreement on any of these four, there is disagreement on the whole project.

01

Eval first

Every case is evaluated against the client's own dataset — not against public benchmarks.

02

Cost per inference

The metric that gets forgotten and breaks projects at the 6-month mark. We measure it from day one.

03

Human in the loop

Every critical decision has a route to a human, measured and documented.

04

AI Act by design

Regulatory compliance built in, not bolted on. Coordinated with Calidad and Consultoría.

The five offices

In your city .

Headquarters in Valladolid; operational offices in Burgos, Aranda, Palencia and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In-person or remote support, always with a dedicated liaison on staff.

One single firm . Your project, where it belongs.
