View service →n8n can be installed on your own server (self-hosted), meaning data never leaves your infrastructure. It also does not charge per execution: the cost is fixed regardless of task volume. And in 2025 it introduced native AI agents with integrated LangChain, making it the most powerful option for workflows that require reasoning or natural language processing. Zapier and Make are easier to get started with but more expensive at scale and offer less control over data.
Not if we choose the self-hosted option. We install n8n on your VPS or on-premises server and all credentials are encrypted within your infrastructure. Only the nodes you configure with external APIs (for example, OpenAI or a cloud model) will send data to those APIs. If confidentiality is critical, we can combine n8n with local AI models via Ollama so that no data ever leaves your network.
The first production workflow is typically operational within four to eight weeks: one week for discovery and prioritisation, two or three for building and testing, and one for deployment and production validation. Simpler workflows (data synchronisation between two applications, automated notifications) can be ready in two weeks.
It is not essential. n8n has a visual editor that allows non-technical users to modify parameters (messages, thresholds, recipients) without touching code. For structural changes or new complex workflows, Summum IA can provide an ongoing maintenance service. We also train your team to build progressive autonomy.
Yes. n8n has native nodes for Odoo and connects to Sage, Dynamics and other ERPs via their REST APIs or webhooks. In projects where ERP integration is the core, we work with Summum Sistemas, which has specific expertise in these systems, to ensure the architecture is robust and the data flow is consistent.
